Da Nang limits officials to no more than 2 business trips abroad per year

On July 10, the Office of the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, signed and issued an official dispatch on the management of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers going abroad.

Accordingly, Da Nang clearly stipulates that officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers cannot be sent on business trips abroad more than twice a year, except in cases of real necessity, due to work requirements, or as part of an accompanying delegation under the direction of superiors.

The agency does not arrange for two key leaders of an agency or unit to join the same delegation on a business trip abroad.

At the same time, the People's Committee of Da Nang City also requires organizing a delegation of no more than 10 people for the delegation led by the head of the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, and no more than 7 people for the delegation led by the deputy head of the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee. Organizing no more than 5 people for the inter-sectoral delegation led by the head or deputy head of the department, branch, branch, People's Committee of the commune, ward, and special zone.

Working time in a country is not more than 3 days, except in case of attending or organizing important events but not more than 5 days.

A business trip should not exceed 3 countries and the working program should be arranged with countries nearby, in the same region to ensure efficiency and savings.

At the same time, the city strictly implements regulations on the use of funds for overseas business trips, and does not participate in overseas trips organized and sponsored by enterprises or specifically invited by foreign enterprises. The locality strictly prohibits organizing overseas tours for civil servants, public employees, and workers using the state budget.
