Ensuring safety for 2,417 tourists remaining in Quang Ninh due to the storm's impact

As of 8:00 p.m. on September 6, 2024, Quang Ninh still had a total of 2,417 tourists staying in the area.

Of which, in Co To district, there are 2 Vietnamese guests; Van Don district has 8 guests (3 Vietnamese guests, 5 foreign guests); Mong Cai city has 912 guests; Uong Bi city has 124 guests; Cam Pha city has 33 guests; Ha Long city has 1,337 guests.

These tourists are mainly international tourists who have pre-booked programs. Due to the storm, they did not stay on the ships in Ha Long Bay but instead stayed at hotels. The Department of Tourism and localities have proactively advised tourists and accommodation establishments to implement measures to ensure safety, ensure food, etc. to meet the needs of tourists when storms occur.
