More than 150 works selected from the collection of nearly 1,500 sketches about Hue owned by the Hue Museum of Fine Arts were displayed right at the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts (78 Le Duan, Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City). This is the result of many years of tireless creative work by many architects, painters, art lovers from the Hanoi Urban Sketch Group and Hue visual artists.
The program also includes an exhibition and performance of Hue traditional Ao Dai with the theme "Ao Dai and Heritage" and activities to learn about and experience woodblock printing with embossed patterns on Hue's Nine Urns and Sinh village paintings.

Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts, hopes that through these events, she will bring emotional experiences to the public of Da Nang and visitors about a colorful picture of culture, history, art architecture, natural landscapes, people... of the ancient capital of Hue. At the same time, it will create an interesting and meaningful "meeting" space for people who share a passion for art, respect and behave well with heritage. "The exhibition not only contributes to strengthening the cultural connection between Hue and Da Nang, but also opens up a new, close and creative approach to the work of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of the ancient capital of Hue through visual arts", Ms. Trai shared.
The exhibition runs until August 22.
On the same morning, representatives of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts also attended a seminar on the topic "Innovation and improvement of the quality of thematic exhibitions at Fine Arts Museums in Vietnam". The seminar took place in Da Nang with the participation of 4 public art museums across the country including: Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, Hue Museum of Fine Arts, Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts, Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts. Here, representatives of the museums shared experiences, exchanged expertise and together sought practical solutions to improve the quality of thematic exhibitions, increasingly better meeting the public's need for cultural enjoyment, while contributing to the development of the cultural industry in the current period.
