Promoting tourism promotion, organizing conferences and seminars; cooperating in tourism development with provinces and cities (Quang Nam, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Can Tho, Da Nang) to introduce and promote Ninh Thuan tourism image more and more widely; at the same time, building a plan to organize training and foster tourism knowledge for skilled tourism human resources to meet the increasing demands of tourists; promoting digital transformation in tourism activities and promoting Ninh Thuan tourism through mass media, electronic information pages, smart tourism applications on mobile devices of Ninh Thuan province (ninhthuantourism.vn), tourism publications... has brought many positive results. The development of technical infrastructure for tourism in the province has always been focused on over the years. In the province, there are 55 service and tourism projects that have been granted investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates (still valid), with a total registered capital of VND 50,623 billion. Of which, 27 projects have been put into operation with a total registered capital of VND 4,019.5 billion; 18 projects are under construction with a total registered capital of VND 39,935 billion and 10 projects are completing related legal procedures for construction with a total registered capital of VND 6,669 billion.
Currently, the province has 255 tourist accommodation establishments and 5,110 rooms, of which the number of rooms with quality equivalent to 3 stars or higher accounts for about 50%, basically meeting the needs when organizing events, conferences, and seminars at national and international levels. State management of accommodation service business is promoted, regularly reminding and guiding establishments to make statistical reports on the software http://thongke.tourism.vn; notifying the time of starting business or changing the owner, business name, tourist accommodation establishment name; procedures for recognizing the rank of tourist accommodation establishments. Tourism enterprises in the province invest in and upgrade many tourist spots and areas to create a spread, promote the image of Ninh Thuan tourism, diversify tourism products, making the itinerary to visit Ninh Thuan more interesting and full of experiences.
Tourism basically creates the driving force to promote the development of socio-economic sectors; creates more jobs, improves the material and spiritual life of the people, contributes to building new rural areas, developing craft villages; thereby affirming that tourism is gradually becoming a key economic sector, with high added value and competitive appeal.
In the last 6 months of the year, the culture, sports and tourism sector continued to strengthen communication activities to raise awareness of all levels, sectors and the whole society about developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector associated with environmental protection. Coordinate with departments, sectors and localities to strengthen inspection and supervision of tourism business management activities in the province, focusing on inspecting and strictly controlling businesses operating illegally; focus on removing and resolving difficulties and problems of tourism businesses to ensure timely, strict, effective and in accordance with regulations. Continue to investigate and survey tourism resources in Ninh Thuan province in 2025; advise on assessing minimum conditions for technical facilities at accommodation establishments in the province.
