Jamal Musiala appeared at the Sabener Strasse training centre earlier this week, marking his first return from injury.
The 22-year-old midfielder appeared at Bayern Munich's training centre wearing crutches and a protective boot, suggesting he is still in the early stages of his recovery. Musiala had previously suffered an ankle injury in the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain.
After a collision with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma late in the first half, Musiala suffered a broken fibula and a dislocated ankle, had to be carried off on a stretcher and immediately flown to Munich for surgery. Musiala will be out of action for at least five months, if not longer.
