On January 17, the Editorial Board and the Executive Committee of the Phu Tho Newspaper's Trade Union held a conference for civil servants, public employees, and workers in 2025.
Attending and chairing the conference were comrade Vu Xuan Chuong - Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Phu Tho Newspaper, Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association of Phu Tho province; comrade Pham Thi Kim Dung - Chairman of Trade Union, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Phu Tho Newspaper.
In 2024, under the leadership of the Party Committee and the Editorial Board, the Trade Union activities and the movement of employees of Phu Tho Newspaper achieved positive results. Along with doing a good job of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees, the Trade Union of Phu Tho Newspaper also actively participated in humanitarian, charitable and social security activities, such as: Giving 66 Tet gifts to civil servants, public employees and employees, each worth 500,000 VND; coordinating with the government to give 1,060 gifts to the poor and disadvantaged people in the districts worth 500,000 VND/gift in the program "Tet to every home". Giving 30 million VND to relatives of the missing people due to the collapse of Phong Chau bridge in difficult circumstances in Son Vi commune, Lam Thao district; mobilized union members and workers to support and help Mr. Vu Manh Thang (a martyr's son with difficult circumstances) in Nam Giang village, Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province with the amount of 22.4 million VND. The Phu Tho Newspaper's Trade Union also mobilized, raised donations, and supported funds, humanitarian and charitable activities with the amount of over 40 million VND...
With the achieved results, in 2024, Phu Tho Newspaper's grassroots Trade Union and many individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements and Trade Union activities were commended at all levels.
Chairman of Phu Tho Newspaper's Trade Union awarded the title of Excellent Trade Union Group in 2024 to the Trade Union Groups.
At the conference, officers, employees and workers of Phu Tho Newspaper contributed many enthusiastic comments to the summary report of the Trade Union's work, the Financial Activity Report and the Internal Spending Regulations of the agency.
In 2025, Phu Tho Newspaper's grassroots trade union strives to excellently complete the set targets and tasks; continue to actively participate in management, representation, care and protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of cadres and union members. Strictly implement the grassroots democracy regulations in the agency's activities. Coordinate the implementation, thoroughly disseminate and strictly implement the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's policies and laws; and resolutions of the higher-level trade union among cadres and union members. Continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, innovate the direction of implementation, improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities, participate in building a clean and strong Party and government, and promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
Representatives of the Trade Union Groups signed the emulation agreement for 2025.
At the conference, the Executive Committee of Phu Tho Newspaper's Trade Union awarded certificates of merit to outstanding trade union groups in 2024 and certificates of merit from the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union Executive Committee to outstanding individuals; representatives of the Editorial Board and the Trade Union signed the emulation agreement for 2025.
