Taking a medical history, Mr. D. said that since the beginning of 2024, he felt pain in his spine, so he went to a medical facility for examination. He was diagnosed with a herniated disc. He took medication and practiced physical therapy regularly, and felt less pain in his spine, but when he stopped taking the medication, the pain became more severe. On September 19, Dr. Duong Thanh Tung, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery, Gia Dinh People's Hospital, said that after taking X-rays, MRI..., Mr. D. was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, L4-L5, L5-S1 disc herniation, and severe nerve compression. He was indicated for surgery using minimally invasive interbody bone grafting technique through the OLIF lateral incision.

Four days after surgery, Mr. D. was able to walk normally and was ready to be discharged from the hospital.
