"The Legend of Yet Kieu" recreates the glorious feat of national hero Pham Huu The (Yet Kieu), a talented general under the Tran Dynasty, famous for his excellent swimming and diving skills in battles against the invading Yuan army.

Mr. Yet Kieu - Pham Huu The (1224-1303) - from Ha Bi village, Gia Loc district, Hai Duong province, was a talented general under the Tran dynasty. In battles, Yet Kieu was assigned by King Tran Nhan Tong and General Tran Hung Dao to destroy the Yuan navy.
