Early morning rain, still hot day

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (June 6), the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, in some places over 60mm.

Similarly, the Central Highlands and the South also had rain of 20-40mm, in some places over 80mm, concentrated in the afternoon and evening.

Rain also concentrated in the evening in the Central region. Today, rainfall from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue is from 10-30mm, some places over 50mm; Da Nang to Binh Thuan is from 20-40mm, some places over 60mm.

In Hanoi area, today there will be showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, concentrated in the late afternoon and night.

Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain may cause flooding in low-lying areas.

According to the meteorological agency, thunderstorms in the Northern, Central Highlands and Southern regions are likely to last for many days to come.

Northwest

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Light wind. Thunderstorms with possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees, some places below 23 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees, some places above 34 degrees.

Northeast

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy. Light winds. Thunderstorms with possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, locally heavy rain. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 25-28 degrees. Highest temperature: 32-35 degrees

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening, locally heavy rain. Southwesterly wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 25-28 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees.

Central Highlands

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Southwesterly winds level 2-3. Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees, some places above 31 degrees.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Southwesterly winds level 2-3. Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees, some places above 34 degrees.

Hanoi

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy. Light winds. Thunderstorms with possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 25-27 degrees. Highest temperature: 32-34 degrees.
