Entering its 27th year, the Exam Consulting program, coordinated by Thanh Nien Newspaper and the Ministry of Education and Training, opened at Dong Nai University on February 15. It will then continue to take place in more than 10 provinces and cities across the country.

In particular, at most of the consulting program locations, Thanh Nien Newspaper organizes exhibition booths for universities, colleges, vocational schools, training centers, study abroad centers... to promote enrollment and provide direct consulting to students.
To prepare to advise students at the booth, lecturers and admissions officers have been thoroughly trained to be able to answer all questions about careers, training programs, recruitment trends, how to choose a career that suits your abilities and interests, human resource needs, etc.
It can be said that exciting and attractive activities can only be held at booths invested by schools to attract students, such as robot performances, mixing drinks, portrait drawing, printing gifts with 3D printers, cultural exchanges, organizing games, giving gifts and scholarships... This is also a great advantage if the university mobilizes lecturers and alumni to participate in consulting and entertainment.
Meet and advise directly with many students
Over the years, exhibition booths have been considered the most direct and effective way to connect with students. Dr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, Head of Training Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, said that consulting at the booth is the most effective form.
"We met directly with students who wanted to apply to the school. After listening to them share their concerns and ask questions about careers, admission criteria, and admission methods, we provided advice and answers so that they could get the most accurate information."

According to Dr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, instead of students having to go to school to meet admissions officers to learn, at the fair, in just a short period of time, students can go to the booths of the universities they are interested in, very convenient to get all the information they need.
Master Cao Quang Tu, Director of Admissions at Saigon International University, also said that the booth at the Thanh Nien Newspaper's Exam Consulting Festival helps schools reach thousands of students quickly.
"Especially, reaching the right audience. Students who want to learn about a school will go to that school's consulting booth. Teachers thus have the opportunity to get closer to students, understand their thoughts and aspirations to connect and advise effectively," said Master Tu.
