On the morning of September 5, at the opening ceremony of the 2024-2024 school year at Bao Thanh Primary School (Bao Thanh Commune, Ba Tri District, Ben Tre ), the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ben Tre province coordinated with the Vietnam Grow Up Milk Fund and Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) to sponsor 16,800 cups of milk from the Vietnam Grow Up Milk Fund program to students.

Vietnam Grow Up Milk Fund presents gifts on the occasion of the opening ceremony at Bao Thanh Primary School (Ben Tre province)

On this occasion, Vinamilk also presented Bao Thanh Primary School with the Vietnam Rising Bookshelf with nearly 1,000 books, notebooks, hundreds of learning tools and 5 laptops for students to practice computer science and search for information.

Awarding scholarships to disadvantaged students who excel in their studies at Bao Thanh Primary School

In addition, the organizers also awarded 30 scholarships to 30 disadvantaged students at Bao Thanh Primary School, each worth 1 million VND.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Toan, Principal of Bao Thanh Primary School, said that the school has 1 main campus and 3 satellite campuses. In the 2024-2025 school year, the main campus has 752 students, of which 145 are from poor or near-poor households. Many students have extremely difficult circumstances and may have to stop studying because their parents cannot afford to send them to school.
