(NLDO) - The Inspection Committee of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee proposed to discipline Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan, Vice Chairman of Bu Gia Map District People's Committee, for many violations.
On March 10, the Inspection Committee of the 11th Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee held its 64th, 65th, 66th and 67th meetings, reviewing and proposing disciplinary action against a number of local leaders.
Accordingly, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee considered and proposed disciplinary action against Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan - Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bu Gia Map District - for many violations.
Mr. Hoan was identified as Chairman of the Compensation Council, supporting site clearance for the Project "Construction of a centralized landfill in Bu Gia Map district", lacking leadership and direction in the activities of the council and the team of experts assisting; directing the development of compensation plans, support for land and assets attached to the land in violation of regulations, causing loss of state budget.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan, Vice Chairman of Bu Gia Map District People's Committee, was prosecuted and temporarily detained in October 2024.
Considering the nature, extent and consequences of the incident, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee proposed that the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee consider and discipline Mr. Hoan according to regulations.
In addition, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee reviewed the inspection results when there were signs of violations against the Provincial Tax Department Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
In addition to the achieved results, in the period of 2020-2021, the Provincial Tax Department Party Committee also had some limitations and shortcomings in leadership, inspection and supervision of the implementation of professional tasks, so that Tax Branches such as Bu Gia Map and Phu Rieng had shortcomings in monitoring and collecting tax debts of My Le LLC for the My Le Commercial and Service Urban Area project and some cadres, party members and civil servants had shortcomings and violations in tax refunds for Loc Ninh 3 and 4 Energy Joint Stock Company.
From there, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission disciplined the Party Committee of the Provincial Tax Department for the 2020-2025 term and Mr. Tran Van Huong - former Party Committee Secretary for the 2020-2025 term, former Director of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Tax Department; currently Chairman of the Inspection Commission of the Party Committee of the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee.
At the same time, it is recommended that the Provincial Tax Department Party Committee organize a serious review and draw profound lessons for relevant individuals.
