This screen ratio is considered to provide a balanced experience when used in both portrait and landscape modes, making the device more useful when reading text and multitasking with multiple applications at the same time.
Previously, analyst Ross Young said Apple would enter the foldable phone market in the second half of 2026. The company's product is expected to cost around $2,600.
