Abolish the Regulation on coordination of management of inland waterway transport activities at Cua Dai and Cu Lao Cham ports.

According to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee, the reason for the abolition is because the coordination regulations are no longer suitable when the participating entities have changed.

The Ministry of Transport has terminated the authorization for the Quang Nam Department of Transport to perform specialized state management of inland waterway transport at ports and inland waterway wharves and to inspect, examine and handle administrative violations in the field of inland waterways.

The Provincial People's Committee requested the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration to direct the Inland Waterways Port Authority of Region V to perform specialized state management functions in accordance with current regulations.

In case of necessity, the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration shall preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, localities and units of Quang Nam province to develop and promulgate appropriate coordination regulations.
with the functions and tasks of each agency, unit and locality in accordance with legal regulations.

The Department of Transport, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Police, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People's Committee of Hoi An City and related organizations and individuals are responsible for coordinating with the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration, the Inland Waterways Port Authority of Region V in the process of implementing the management of inland waterway transport activities at Cua Dai and
Cu Lao Cham (Hoi An City) in accordance with regulations and coordinate in the process of building and promulgating new regulations (if required).
