Appointing Mr. Le Manh Cuong as Deputy General Director of Petrovietnam

On September 17, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group ( Petrovietnam ) held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint Mr. Le Manh Cuong to the position of Deputy General Director of the Group.

At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Anh Minh - Head of the Group's Human Resources Management Board announced the decision to appoint officials. Based on work requirements, with the consent of the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises, the Group's Board of Members decided to temporarily appoint Mr. Le Manh Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation ( PTSC ) to hold the position of Deputy General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

On behalf of the Group's leadership, Mr. Le Manh Hung - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group congratulated Mr. Le Manh Cuong on being trusted and credited by the Group's Board of Directors, officers, employees and workers with the important responsibility of Deputy General Director of the Group.

Mr. Le Manh Hung emphasized that in order to successfully implement the strategy of developing Petrovietnam into a national industrial and energy group, in addition to perfecting the development institution and organizing an optimal management apparatus, the prerequisite to be implemented is to perfect the team of key staff with capacity and experience.
