Amid Wildfires, Police and FBI Visit Ben Affleck's Home

TMZ released a video of actor Ben Affleck (52) talking tensely with police outside the front gate of his Brentwood home, which is near the Palisades fire.

In the footage released on January 14, Ben Affleck is seen driving his BMW out of the house before stopping to roll down the window and chat with two police officers.

It's unclear what his conversation with police was about. The Armageddon actor appeared to be expressing his frustration with the private security force in his neighbourhood - making it difficult for him to get in and out of his home.

The three-time Golden Globe winner and the police appeared to exchange some heated words for a few minutes. Ben Affleck was seen gesturing outside his car. However, things appeared to calm down as the actor eventually thanked the officers and drove off.

Affleck's conversation with police comes after the FBI and local police reportedly visited his home on January 12. According to Page Six , authorities were trying to gather information after a private drone damaged a firefighting aircraft in the area.

"FBI agents showed up at Ben Affleck's home to see if he had surveillance footage of a private drone that damaged one of his firefighting planes," a source said.

"Members of the FBI Ground Intercept task force were on duty in the Palisades fire area regarding unauthorized drone activity," an FBI representative also explained at the time.

On January 7, when the wildfires broke out in Los Angeles, Ben Affleck evacuated to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's house, where she lives with her three children: Violet (19), Fin (16) and Samuel (12). After learning that the Palisades fire did not burn down his house, the Good Will Hunting actor returned to the mansion the next day.
