Special football match between Vietnam Journalists Association and Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to celebrate Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

On the afternoon of June 17, on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023), the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee had a friendly football match, with the spirit of playing with all their might, regardless of winning or losing.

The two teams took photos and exchanged souvenir flags before starting the exciting friendly match.

Journalist Tran Trong Dung, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said that this was an extremely special match, originating from the idea of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association, revolving around practical activities to celebrate the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. This special match was actively responded to by the leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

During the break between the two rounds, the Vietnam Journalists Association team presented souvenir jerseys to Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Hoang Ngan, Mr. Ha Phuoc Thang, Member of the Law Committee of the National Assembly and Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, and Mr. Duong Hong Thang, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Hoc Mon District People's Committee.

In the final result, the HCM City People's Committee team won with a score of 2-1.
