The number of players registering for the Kingtek 2025 international pickleball tournament has exploded.

The Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025 closed registration early for novice men's doubles and intermediate men's doubles due to a full registration.

On August 7, businesswoman Madam Truyen (Phan Thi Thanh Truyen), Head of the Organizing Committee of the Kingtek 2025 International Pickleball Tournament (taking place on August 16 and 17 in Malaysia) said: "In the first time organizing a tournament abroad to connect and spread the pickleball movement, we are very happy that many athletes from Malaysia, Vietnam and other countries and territories have registered to compete. The registration for the competition will be closed on August 10, but according to a report from the professional committee, the novice men's doubles and intermediate men's doubles have reached the number of registered athletes, so the registration will be closed early. There are a total of 64 pairs in the novice men's doubles and 40 pairs in the intermediate men's doubles."

The Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025 takes place at the Grand Pickleball Arena (GPA, Malaysia). The tournament is divided into 3 skill levels: novice, intermediate and open with a total of 8 events. The Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025 has a very attractive prize structure. The prize for the champion of the open events is RM5,000 (about VND30 million), the champion of the intermediate events is RM3,000 (about VND18 million) and the champion of the events for the new players group is RM2,000 (about VND12 million). From now until August 10, the organizing committee continues to accept registrations for the remaining events such as novice women's doubles, intermediate mixed doubles, open men's doubles, etc.
